Wilderness First Aid - All Outdoor
Course Overview
Join us for a hands-on, outdoor-first Wilderness First Aid course designed for hunters, hikers, guides, and anyone who spends time in remote or rural environments where access to emergency care may be delayed. This 10-hour course takes place entirely outdoors, with light hiking, interactive simulations, and real-world skill-building. You’ll learn how to assess injuries, treat life-threatening conditions, and make evacuation decisions using improvisation and good judgment—not just gear.
At the heart of this course is our MARCH-CHECK system, a wilderness-adapted trauma assessment model that teaches you how to identify and treat life threats first (Massive bleeding, Airway, Respiration, Circulation, Head injury), then transition into longer-term care (Comprehensive exam, History/vitals, Evacuation planning, Continued monitoring, Keep warm and calm). Whether you're new to first aid or brushing up for your next season outdoors, this course will give you the tools and confidence to take action when it matters.
